Scrappingclearly October Challenges

    

Love retreats!! (as I think we all do)  Its great to be able to get lots of challenges done.  Completed both the moodboard and sketch challenge at Scrappingclearly for October.

I love the colour combo of this moodboard - orange, red & pink.

These colours and the quote go so well with this photo and of course I added flowers.

Also completed the sketch challenge.  Love simple sketches.

The girls had played in the Netball Grand Final 6 times (4 years in a row) and never won.  They lost by 1 or 2 goals.  This year they finally won.  They finished in 3rd place, narrowly won the final and then smashed it in the grand final. There was even an article in the local paper which I have included in the bag.

Charms Creations September Challenge

Another first for me.  Love the simplicity of this sketch.

 It has taken a while for me to scrap this photo.  Just couldn't work out what colours to use with it.  I was playing with the paints and decided this photo just needed lots of colour.

Scrapping Clearly September Sketch Challenge

This the first challenge I have done at Scrapping Clearly.

Got messy with a new stencil.  Ended up with paint and mists everywhere!

This months challenge at Kraft + is all about yellow.

Have included circles and some white.

123 Challenge

I love bright colours, so this challenge was right up my ally.

 I had experimented with some gelatos (which didn't really work) on the c/s and I put away.  Dug it out and attacked it with sprays and water, then used some texture paste with stencils and I love how it turned out.
 

June 123 Challenge

 This months challenge at 123 Challenge Blog is:

I really don't like stitching on a layout, but I did do some for this one.  Have used lots of gold - gold distressed mists, gold embellishments, wire, gold thread.  My inspiration came from the PL card that I found.  What a better way to showcase our first photo on Waikiki beach than with this colour combo.  I used the word Family in a chipboard tag.  I love the Gold, Teal and Kraft together.
