123 Challenge

I love bright colours, so this challenge was right up my ally.

 I had experimented with some gelatos (which didn't really work) on the c/s and I put away.  Dug it out and attacked it with sprays and water, then used some texture paste with stencils and I love how it turned out.
 

June 123 Challenge

 This months challenge at 123 Challenge Blog is:

I really don't like stitching on a layout, but I did do some for this one.  Have used lots of gold - gold distressed mists, gold embellishments, wire, gold thread.  My inspiration came from the PL card that I found.  What a better way to showcase our first photo on Waikiki beach than with this colour combo.  I used the word Family in a chipboard tag.  I love the Gold, Teal and Kraft together.

D'lish April Challenge

Love the colours and inspiration in this months D-lish mood board.  They are quite different.

My inspiration came from the colours (especially the gold), the flower cluster and a feather. I wanted to include some triangles but they just weren't working for me.

This is the April 123 Challenge.

Although I have two daughters, I am not a very pink person.

Here is my layout. I have used 2 types of grids, one done with mists and the other with texture paste & gelatos.

Here is my layout.  This was one of the best day of our trip to Hawaii - A bike tour of the Kilaeua Crater.
I have used the word SEE in my journalling, it is on embossed cardstock and the background is in different strengths of Aqua - just mists, with texture paste and a combo of gelatos.  Had lots of fun with this one.

D-lish March Challenge

Love this inspiration board and colour combo.

 Here is my layout.  I took inspiration from the cake and the flowers, the circle in the wreath,  as well as the colours.  I love the grey with the blue and yellow.  These girls, and boys, look so gorgeous as they head off to the Year 12 formal.

Sketchy Boards Challenge

Loved the sketch and colour combo for the March Sketchy Boards Challenge.

My take on it is a bit different.  Used a diamond stencil with triangles and then added some triangle buttons.  Love the reds on the dark kraft.
